(1.5 miles) – Join us for a short hike around the beach of the harbor where we talk about its colorful past as we enjoy views of Shelter Island, Cedar Point Park and Barcelona Neck. Northwest Harbor was the main port of East Hampton from 1654 until the first wharf was built in Sag Harbor in 1761.

CHRISTMAS EVE ROAST SUCKLING PIG DINNER AT ALMOND

Almond has announced their 15th annual Christmas Eve tradition of roast suckling pig served with cabbage, caramelized apples and spaetzle for $31. A portion of the revenue from Christmas Eve will be donated to the Pajama Program (www.pajamaprogram.org). The program provides new, warm pajamas and new books to children in need in the United States and all around the world, many who are waiting to be adopted. The regular a la carte menu will also be available. Hours on Christmas Eve, December 24th are 5 to 9:30 p.m. Almond will be closed on Christmas Day. Topping Rose House’s Executive Chef Ryan Murphy and Guest Chef for the holidays, Seth Bixby Daugherty, have come together to create a special evening to raise awareness and support these charitable organizations. Beginning at 6pm with a cocktail hour, your evening continues at 7pm with a four course dinner in the Barn.

Net proceeds of this event will be shared equally by No Kid Hungry in their efforts to end childhood hunger and The Bridgehampton Child Care & Recreational Center.
