My mind has to be completely focused on my own illusions. I never look at other people’s work. I have an obsession with details and pattern. It’s really easy to get colors right. It’s really hard to get black – and neutrals – right. Black is certainly a color but it’s also an illusion.
In order to be irreplaceable one must always be different. Everything I do is a matter of heart, body and soul. I’ve always tried to push myself technically and to push myself visually. That’s been part of the journey. Sometimes the simplest things are the most profound.
I like the things around me to be beautiful and slightly dreamy, with a feeling of worldliness.
It’s a philosophy of life. A practice. If you do this, something will change, what will change is that you will change, your life will change, and if you can change you, you can perhaps change the world. Design is a series of creative choices – it’s a collaborative effort, an evolutionary process. I design from instinct. What feels good. What feels right. What is needed. Give me a problem and I will approach it creatively.

Working on the details, twisting them and playing with them over the years, but always staying on the same track. I like things simple. I like to be real. My learning process is by eye alone; it’s not at all scientific. For me, art is about learning and about living with people. It’s alive. Grunge is a hippied romantic version of punk.
- Be a voice, not an echo.
- Do it with passion or not at all.
- If you want it work for it. It’s that simple.

An Electric Evening…
To some, they are a reminder of some wild and happy times. To others, that name will forever be linked to their own discovery of the power and depth of American blues and roots music. For more than four decades, they have played, toured, and recorded some of the best and most memorable acoustic and electric music ever. However, ladies and gentlemen this is will not be a soft quiet evening of listening to them strum their acoustic guitars, this will be a joyous raucous of an evening of them jamming out and making this a night you’ll never forget!
