Dickens Carolers in Hampton Bays

Dickens Carolers – They perform in front of the hat shop at 3 pm, to kick off the inaugural Holiday Season Sparkles celebration, co-hosted by the Hampton Bays Historical Society and Southampton Town Parks and Recreation Department. After the performance guests will walk down Main Street to the Cannuscio Trail to Good Ground Park for a carol performance by the Westhampton Beach Performing Arts Center Teen Repertory Theater at 4pm. That will be followed by a tree and menorah lighting at 4:20. For info call the Parks and Recreation Dept. at (631)728-8585.

East Hampton’s Holiday Tour Of Inns and B&Bs

The East Hampton Chamber of Commerce will host the East Hampton Annual B & B and Historical Places Tour beginning at 11 a.m. on Saturday, December 8. The tour is self-guided and will begin at The Huntting Inn, where participants can check in and receive their maps. Participation in the tour is free as a gift from the East Hampton Chamber of Commerce, and each of the B & B’s will welcome guests with refreshments and conversations. Sites will be open from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Learning to guide other people safely into a variety of standing poses offers amazing insight and clarity into your own practice.

As you observe and then touch and then practice, your mind and body make new connections to deepen your understanding and ability. It’s as good for you as it is for them.

For yoga teachers and all levels of yoga students.

This is one of Mandala’s several Advancing Your Yoga workshops aimed to give you deeper insight and specific guidance to take the next steps in your own practice. Lead by teachers with years of experience in both instructing and practicing themselves.

In the Saturday Afternoon Art classes at the Golden Eagle students will explore a variety of art making processes and fun projects. There will be drawing, painting, collage, sculpture & more! This class is open to all kids who love art & want some more hands-on time to develop their skills and experiment with different techniques & materials.

Kids should dress to get messy.  All materials included.
