The Ellen Hermanson Foundation is thrilled to present its annual community fundraiser, TICKLED PINK, Saturday, February 8 at LTV Media Center, 75 Industrial Road, Wainscott from 6:30 pm – 10 pm. The evening will kick off the Foundation’s 25th anniversary year featuring comedian Jessica Kirson, fabulous bites, open bar, dancing and silent and live auctions.  Ms. Kirson was recently awarded “Best Female Comic” by the MAC association in New York City and received the prestigious Nightlife Award for “Best Stand-up Comedian.”

Storyteller, funny person and member of the Shinnecock Nation, Andrina Wekontash Smith will be the opening act. She can be found monthly at The People’s Improv Theatre in Manhattan, performing on Friday nights with her sketch team “Like Butter.” Cheryl Babinski, Christopher Robbins and Robbins-Wolfe Eventeurs and Charlotte Sasso and Stuarts Seafood Market will be recognized with Community Achievement Awards.

 The celebration will take place on Sunday, January 26, two days before the actual birthday of former artist and Springs resident, Jackson Pollock. The evening will feature art, nature, and a $40 prix fixe menu, with recipes inspired by Robyn Lea’s book Dinner with Jackson Pollock. A portion of the proceeds collected will be donated to the Pollock-Krasner House.
