Winter Botany Walk At The Quogue Wildlife Refuge

Sunday, January 28th
9:30am to 11:00am

This wintertime botany walk around the Quogue Wildlife Refuge will concentrate on trees, shrubs and other plant species. Bark, buds and seeds will all be observed and used to identify plants. We will look for early blooming skunk cabbage, a sign that spring is not too far away. This walk will be led by MaryLaura Lamont, Park Ranger, of William Floyd Estate Fire Island National Seashore. A free program for adults and families. Space is limited so register on our website or by calling 631.653.4771.
