Working in graphite and colored pencil, learn the techniques to translate live plant material onto paper. You will learn to realistically recreate the exquisite forms found in nature and at the same time hone your drawing skills. The elements of design: line, shape, form, color, value, texture and space will be taught. A starter materials package is available from the instructor for $10. The package contains: 3 artist quality colored pencils, graphite pencil, sharpener, vinyl eraser, and a knead-able eraser, as well as paper and tracing paper. ($10 materials fee is optional, or students can bring their won materials) Cost: $240 EEA members / $288 non-members FRIDAYS, April 5, 13, 19, (no 4/26) May 3 (10:00AM – 1:00PM) (4 classes)
