Beach Parking Permit
You may now receive your 2018 Village Beach Parking Permits by mail. If you want a Townbeach pass, you must contact the Town at 631-728-8585. We encourage all residents and non-residents to take advantage of this service. To process your Permit by mail we will require the following items:
For Residents:
- A copy of a valid car registration for each car for which you want to receive a permit.
- A copy of your current tax bill.
- A telephone number in case we need to reach you for more information.
- A self-addressed stamped envelope where you want your permit mailed to. (If this is not included, we will not mail out your permit)
For year round renters in the Village:
- A copy of a valid registration for each car for which you wish to receive a permit.
- A copy of your year round lease (must be here at least one year prior to May 2018).
- Two original utility bills showing your name and village address from last summer, fall and winter.
- A telephone number in case we need to reach you for more information.
- A self-addressed stamped envelope (S.A.S.E.)where you want your permit mailed to. (If this is not included, we will not mail your permit out!)
For “Local” Non-Residents: (Residing within Southampton Fire or School District)
- A copy of a valid registration for each car for which you wish to receive a permit.
- A copy of your Southampton Town tax bill OR
- A copy of your year round lease and two utility bills.
- A telephone number in case we need to reach you for more information.
- A check or money order made out to the Village of Southampton in the amount of $250.00 per car. (Senior citizens/Veterans **$175)
- A self-addressed stamped envelope where you want your permit mailed to. (If this is not included, we will not mail your permit out!).

** Seniors = 65 years old by Sept 3, 2018
Veterans = current military ID or DD 214
For “Summer Visitors” only:
- A copy of a valid car registration for each car you want a Permit for.
- A telephone number in case we need to reach you for more information.
- A check or money order made out to the Village of Southampton in the amount of $450.00 per car.
- A self-addressed stamped envelope where you want your permit mailed to. (If this is not included, we will not mail your permit out!).
- No senior discount.

Road Opening Permit
A road opening permit must be submitted to the Village with a $150.00 application fee. If trenching is needed, the fee will be $1.00 for each additional linear foot. The permit must be accompanied by a certificate of insurance naming the Village as a primary additionally insured (as per Village code) and a surety bond or certified check in an amount to be determined based on the application. No work is to commence without the approval of the application by the Superintendent of Public Works. Please note that any excavations in the roadway over 20 linear feet will have to have a final overlay of 1 ½” from curb to curb.

Handicap Parking Permit (Village Residents Only)
A signed doctors note stating the disability must be provided to Village Clerk’s Office. There is no fee for this service.
Tennis Permit(Village Residents Only)
$10.00 for single and $30.00 for family

GENERAL — No filming shall be conducted on private or public property in the Village of Southampton without first obtaining a permit from the Village Clerk/Treasurer.
For this purpose, the term filming includes the taking of still or motion pictures, either on film, videotape or similar recording medium, for commercial or educational purposes intended for viewing on television or in theaters or for institutional use.
APPLICATION — Application should be made in writing to the Village Clerk/Treasurer. The application shall describe (1) the proposed site or sites involved, (2) the nature of the proposed filming, (3) the proposed date or dates, and (4) the number of personnel, vehicles and equipment involved.
FEES — The fee for filming on public property shall be $750 per day. Additional fees may be imposed if the proposed activity imposes unusual costs on the Village or its facilities.
The fee for filming on private property will be set on a case by case basis, depending on the costs which may be incurred by the Village.
INSURANCE — The applicant shall supply the Village with proof of public liability insurance with policy limits of $500,000/$1,000,0000 with the Incorporated Village of Southampton shown as an additional or named insured.
MISCELLANEOUS
In general filming will not be permitted on weekends or holidays.
Generators are not permitted.
Special restrictions apply to filming on beaches or near wetlands.
Filming on any Village beaches is not permitted from Memorial Day through September 30 of each year.
Other conditions may be imposed.
Requests for exceptions should be directed in writing to the Board of Trustees.
