20th Annual Little Lucy’s Halloween Pet Parade

Bring your best-dressed dog to Agawam Park in Southampton, (across the street from Little Lucy’s boutique). Registration starts at 1:00 sharp. $10.00 per dog. *Parade walks down Jobs Ln., onto Main St. Then back to Agawam Park for Party, Costume awards, & Raffle winners! Haunted Southampton Village

Visit a haunted Southampton Village inhabited with ghosts, goblins and ghouls all on the grounds of the historic Rogers Mansion. The outbuildings will be open and occupied with the unimaginable. Those brave enough to make it to the end will be rewarded with candy and pumpkins provided by the Southampton Youth Association (while supplies last). Children must be accompanied by an adult, social distancing will be enforced between groups and facemasks are required.

Music For Montauk’s Fall Concerts

On Saturday, October 23rd at 5PM, at the First Presbyterian Church of East Hampton, (120 Main Street, East Hampton, NY) violinist Hilary Castle, cellist Ani Kalayjian and pianist Miloš Repický  present an evening of romantic, lush, and indulgent music for piano trio. The program features Joseph Haydn’s Piano Trio No. 39  in G Major (nicknamed “Hungarian” for the robust finale), Pulitzer Prize-winning composer Jennifer Higdon’s Pale Yellow, and Bohemian composer Bedřich Smetana’s Piano Trio in G minor.

 

Sunday, October 24th at 3PM, at St Therese of Licieux Church, (67 S Essex Street, Montauk, NY) the Overlook Quartet, the visionary new string ensemble amplifying the music of black composers, presents a new program of works by all-female composers entitled “Shooting Stars”. Violinists Monica Davis & Ravenna Lipchik, Angela Picket, viola, and Laura Metcalf, cello. The program features music by Leila Adu, Eleanor Alberga, and Shelley Washington. FREE ADMISSION, MASKS REQUIRED.
