Join the HAH for a guided walk led by naturalist and native plant expert, Vicki Bustamante, with plenty of stops to look at plants, birds and vistas. Montauk County Park comprises 1,100 acres of pristine lands. This walk will take us through the Montauk grasslands, following some of the footsteps of the Montaukett tribe. The top of Squaw Hill offers breath taking vistas of Block Island Sound, Oyster Pond. Oyster Pond, designated by the NY Natural Heritage Program as the best example of a coastal salt pond community. Wear comfortable hiking clothing and take precautions for ticks. Organized by the Horticultural Alliance of the Hamptons. Cost: $5 for HAH Members; $10 Non-Members.
