Now in its sixth year, Peconic Family Fun Day offers visitors the opportunity to learn about and celebrate the ecosystems, estuaries, and environments unique to the East End. The event is filled with a host of accessible activities designed to encourage water management, agricultural sustainability, recycling, and environmental stewardship. Those attending will enjoy games, live critters, arts & crafts stations, a seed planting station, taste testing, music, and more.
This year’s presenting partners include: Amaryllis Farms, the Bridgehampton Marimba Band, the Children’s Museum of the East End, EECO Farm, Friends of the Long Pond Greenbelt, Group for the East End, Peconic Land Trust, Ross School, Southampton Hospital’s Tick-Borne Disease Resource Center, the South Fork Natural History Museum (SoFo), and Sylvester Manor Educational Farm.
